A customer was looking to counterbalance an extended air rammer that is used to clean out machines in the mining industry. The tool is heavy and long and sometimes required more than one operator to complete the job. They needed a solution that would make this a less strenuous, one-man operation.
We counterbalanced the 22 pound 8-foot long air rammer using the G-30 with max cylinders. The arm includes 2 rotations which will allow the operators to reach the entire inside of the machine. Vibration dampening bushings were included at the rotations to help protect the arm from the vibrations. An additional handle was included for added comfort and stabilization.
