A customer recently reached out to FlexArm looking for a better way to operate a Milwaukee band saw. They were looking for an arm that could counterbalance the 14.5-pound tool for easier operation.

They use the band saw to push through large coils and the operator was having to hold the tool above their shoulders to make the cut.
At the customer’s facility, the FlexArm will be mounted up high so the operator will be able to use one hand to bring the tool down and cut the coil. We chose the G-30 arm for this solution and paired it with a custom rotational tool mount. The arm will allow the tool to maintain perpendicularity while the rotational mount will help the operator maneuver the tool any way they wish. The arm will also assist when servicing the tool by keeping both hands available when changing the blade.
